Michael L. Hilton, Sr.

Michael “Mike” L. Hilton, Sr., 56, of Keystone Heights, FL, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008. He was born on January 24, 1952 in Hurley, VA to parents, Berlin and Martha Hilton. Mike had been a heavy equipment operator at Gilman Paper Company and enjoyed hunting, fishing and politics. He was a man’s man and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his parents, Berlin and Martha Hilton; sons, Michael L. Hilton, II and Mark Burkes; brother, Doug Hilton and sisters, Lynn Harvey, Dutch Smith and Sue Newman. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 11, 2008 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Brother Paul Salazar officiating.
