Harold Jordan Bean

H. Jordan Bean, 81, of Orange Park, FL passed away August 23, 2014 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center. He was born on June 8, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to parents Harold J. and Frances Bean. Jordan was a graduate at Williamsport Technical Institute, where he became certified as a Diesel Technician. He pursued multiple business ventures including his career as an insurance consultant for estate, personal, and business life insurance planning. He also worked as a driver for Resolve Towing retiring in 1993. He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on January 21, 1976 when he joined the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Lodge #983. Later he transferred to General Assembly, Illinois Lodge #3000. He came to Moosehaven on November 16, 2004 where he resided for 9 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his sister Joan. He is survived by his nephew, Jonathon B. Bean; his niece, Catherine K. Bean; his good friends, James Olsen of Chicago, Illinois and Doris Byrhe of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
