Frank M. Gunther, Jr.

MCPO Frank M. Gunther,Jr., USN, Ret., 70, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away September 1, 2014. He was born on May 19, 1944 in Hackensack, NJ to parents Frank M. and Anne Moran Gunther. Mr. Gunther served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran, retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer after 21 years of service. Following his military career he worked for CSX, retiring after 13 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Alice Gunther; son, Steven French (Monica); daughters, Cindy Poehlman (Rick) and Michelle Willis (Lyle) and grandchildren, Emily, Eric, Katie and Matthew.
