Captain Francis Sobotor

Retired Captain Francis “Frank” Sobotor, 68, of Middleburg, FL passed away Friday, September 19, 2008. Mr. Sobotor was born to parents Anthony and Beverly Sobotor on March 3, 1940 in Shamokin, PA. Frank moved from Maysville, NC. to the Middleburg area two years ago and was of the Baptist faith. Frank was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Jacksonville, NC. He enjoyed fishing, building houses and loved his family and friends very dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by his wife, Nancy Sobotor; his stepmother, Eva Sobotor; son, William Anthony Sobotor (Jane); daughter, Victoria Lynn Walling; brothers, Charles Sobotor (Cathy) and Anthony Sobotor; grandchildren, Justin Walling, Preston Walling, and Jeremy Hargett (Jill); great-grandchildren, Noah and Aloni Hargett.
