Leona "Lee" Jane Printz

Leona S. Printz, better known as Lee, age 97, of Orange Park, Florida and formerly of Zephyrhills, FL and Glen Burnie, MD, went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2014. She was born to Cyrus and Besse Snyder on March 7, 1917 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Lee married William Printz Jr. on October 12, 1940 in Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1998. They had two children, David and Patricia. She was a devoted wife and mother; working outside the home in a variety of jobs such as telephone operator, bank teller and switchboard operator for a small business. Lee became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose when she joined Zephyrhills, FL Chapter #1682 on May 5, 1981. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on April 29, 1990, College of Regents Degree on July 5, 1997 and her red stole in 2000. Lee came to Moosehaven on January 25, 2000 where she has resided for 14 ½ years. Funeral Services held Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:00am in the Moosehaven Chapel. Services conducted by Rev. Helen Taylor and Officers of Opportunity Chapter. She was laid to rest in Harrold Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Greensburg, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Bill) Jones of North Carolina and David (Marsha) Printz of Illinois, grandson, Michael (Carla) Printz and great grandchildren, Sarah Maria and Nathan David of Illinois.
