Janet Louise Staefe

Janet Louise Staefe, 66, of Middleburg, FL formerly of Palm Beach, FL passed away October 9, 2014. She was born on October 16, 1947 in Queens, NY to parents Nicholas and Joyce (Lenahan) Arth. She had moved to Middleburg in 2007 from Palm Beach and was a communicant of St. Luke’s Catholic Church. She was a proud mother and loved her grandchildren dearly. She loved arts and crafts of all kinds and was very proud of her service with the Health Department in Palm Beach County. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Karen Stovall and is survived by her son, Kevin B. (Bertie) Staefe of Middleburg, FL; sister, Lynne (Al) Breud, and grandchildren, Nicholas and Rebecca Staefe. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. the rosary will be recited at 6:15 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 with The Reverend Pervaiz Maslih as the celebrant. Mrs. Staefe will be buried at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, FL.
