Maggie Stanley

Maggie Stanley, 77, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 at her Jacksonville residence surrounded by her beloved family. Mrs. Stanley was born to Peter and Florence Rouse on May 15, 1931 in Mayesville, SC and moved to Jacksonville forty years ago from Ft. Pierce. She was a member of Bible Believers Christian Fellowship and enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Mrs. Maggie was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe Stanley, Sr. and by five children. She is survived by five children: Roscoe Stanley, Jr., Donald Stanley, Clyde Stanley, Brenda (husband, James) Graham, and Joyce (husband, Lamar) Odom all of Jacksonville; brother, Charles Rouse of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Janie Taylor and Alma Wilson, both of Ft. Pierce; many grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at Bible Believers Christian Fellowship, 507 Cassat Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32254 on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:00 am officiated by Pastor Curtis Beckles.
