Henry Howell “Howie” Hodgson, Jr., 76 of Fleming Island, FL passed away October 29, 2014. He was born on January 29, 1938 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Henry and Deanna (Napier) Hodgson. Howie had lived in the area for most of his life. He had worked for the Barnett Bank as a fraud investigator, was a private investigator and the Owner of Triple H Investigations. Howie had served as a special deputy with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and was a member of the F.O.P. Howie had the biggest sense of humor, he loved to joke and make people laugh and if you knew Howie, you also knew how much he loved his dog Magnum. Howie was a wonderful care giver who adored his wife Jackie. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Keith Hodgson. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Hodgson; step-son, Fred (Cheree) Bible; step-daughter, Melissa Bible; sons, Richard (Cathy) Hodgson and Michael Hodgson; brother, Terry Hodgson; grandchildren, Chandler, Logan, Madison, Ashley and Amber. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Mr. Fred Bible will officiate.
