Joseph "Joe" Rifenbark

Joseph “Joe” Rifenbark, 79, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away November 6, 2014. He was born on May 1, 1935 in Jefferson, NY to parents Isaac and Dorothy O’Dell Rifenbark. He had worked as a truck driver and had lived in the local area since 1979, moving here from Georgia. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church and loved working, wood working and was a simple man. He loved watching football and wrestling and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Patricia G. Rifenbark; sons, Joseph Rifenbark, Jr. “Jody” and Kenneth Quackenbush; daughters, Judy Whittiker (Arlo), Serena Williams, Jackie, Tammy Carter (Russ) and Toni Dales (Scooter); brother, Gerald Rifenbark (Pat); sister, Barbara Thorne; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Paul Salazar officiating. Visitation will be in the chapel from 1:00 pm until service time.
