Raymond Benjamin Padgett

Raymond Padgett, 76, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008. He was born to Herbert and Maude Padgett on April 24, 1932 in Clay County, FL and was of the Protestant faith. He worked in the construction industry and enjoyed gardening and spending time on the porch with his children. Mr. Padgett was preceded in death by 4 children: Danny, Jerry, Kenny, and Richard Padgett. He is survived by 3 sons: Ray, Randy, and Benjamin Padgett; 2 daughters: Sherry (Tim) Lawson and Cathy (Donny) Andrews; 2 brothers: Edwin (Joyce) Padgett and Joe (Frankie) Padgett; 2 sisters: Lorene (Eddie) Stevens and Frances (Kenneth) Lang; 11 grandchildren: Amanda, Alicia, Rachel, Chantell, Gina, Chuck, Jerry Jr., Stacy, Billy, Jeff, and D.J. A memorial service and luncheon will be held at Edwin and Joyce Padgett’s residence, 2715 Scully Rd, Middleburg (904) 282-5923, on Sat., Nov. 1, 2008 at 11:00 am.
