Mrs. Marie Plourde

Mrs. Marie Plourde, 68, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008. She was born on May 26, 1940 in Barnstable, MA to parents, Lester and Viola Lee. Mrs. Plourde was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island, FL. She was an avid golfer and had an incredible 5 “hole-in-ones”. She was a member of the USGA, the Magnolia Point Ladies Golf Assoc., the Jacksonville Women’s Golf Assoc. and when she wasn’t golfing; she enjoyed sewing and being with her loving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Donald J. Plourde; children, Cheryl Plourde of Berlin, CT, Lisa Thomas of LaCrosse, WI, Cathy Plourde of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Kendra Peck (Scott) of Fleming Island, FL; brother, Russell Lee of Osterville, MA and 8 grandchildren. A Vigil Service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with visitation following until 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, October 31, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Donal Sullivan as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs, P.O.
