Nancy Carolyn Beeler

Nancy Carolyn Beeler, 79, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. She was born June 7, 1935 in Knoxville, TN to parents Stewart H. Connelly and June Fay Burkhart Connelly. Mrs. Beeler was a Registered Nurse for 25 years for long term and home health care as well as the Director of nursing. She was an accomplished writer who published 5 books. Mrs. Beeler enjoyed arts, crafts and gardening. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas which she loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Beeler was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Herbert Beeler; children, Daniel Beeler (Lori), Kathy Casey (Patrick), Timothy Beeler (Gwen), Angela Skaggs (Tim) and Tami Rice; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Friday, December 5, 2014 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Ed Murfin officiating.
