Sophie Marie Oglesby

Sophie Marie Oglesby, 83, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away December 2, 2014. She was born on May 23, 1931 in the Bronx, NY to the late Michael and Pulcheria (Pecario) Di Stanislao. Sophie has been a resident of Green Cove Springs since 1993. A devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sophie loved her church. She watched children and cleaned there for eight years. She worked at the Food Pantry and also was a supporter of EWTN. Sophie is survived by her sons; Mark Oglesby and Michael (Libby) Oglesby; her brother, Joseph; her sister, Julia Colombini; and her grandchildren, Andrea and Meggan. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00 am with Father Donal Sullivan officiating.
