Vincent “Vince” Belfatto, passed away December 4, 2014 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 100. He was born to Michael and Katie Belfatto on January 9, 1914 in East Orange, New Jersey. Vince married Loyola Moore on June 21, 1947. She preceded him in death on May 23, 2010. He worked as Supervisor of Buildings for the Parsippany, New Jersey Board of Education retiring in 1975.
Vince served his country honorably the United States Army during his service he received an Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. Vince became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on March 1, 1984 when he joined the Tarpon Springs, Florida Lodge #1429. He came to Moosehaven with his wife Loyola on July 21, 1999 where he resided for 15 years. Graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11:30am at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. He is survived by nephew, Val Schnell of Livingston, New Jersey.
