Mrs. Eddie Anne Carter, 70, of Orange Park, FL passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was born on January 3, 1944 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Arthur Walter Barker and Mrs. Eddie Francis Hodges Barker. Eddie moved to Orange Park, FL in 1970 and attended St. Peters Lutheran Church. She loved Disney World, going camping and being outdoors. Eddie was an avid Jaguars fan, she loved going to the games and could tell you the names of all the players. Mrs. Carter was a loving wife, mother, grandma, MawMaw and Mickey and will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends. Eddie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Robert Carter, two sons, Robert Carter, Jr. (Karen) of Royal Palm Beach, FL and James Edward Carter (Carrie) of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Tammbra Lee Shaughnessy (Daniel) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Holly Anne Summers (Tony) of Orange Park, FL; brother, Robert Estauer, of Kentucky; sisters, Alice MacArthur, of Preston, MS, Jane Arnold of Middleburg, FL and Phyllis Tanguma of Arizona; 9 grandchildren, John, Kyle, Keith, Wesley, Alexis, Elizabeth, Ashley, Vanessa and Tiara; 7 great grandchildren, Isabella, Eliana, Bane, Layne, Lillyana, Adalynn, and Layn. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Ross Engel officiating.
