Alice Grace "A.G." Cavin

Alice Grace “A.G.” Cavin, 86, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away at the Bailey Family Center for Caring Hospice on December 26, 2014 after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 29, 1927 in Middleburg, FL to parents Marvin and Grace Williamson and had lived in Clay County her entire life. She had been a bookkeeper for several of the car dealerships in the area and was a member of Black Pond Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ed Cavin; son, Edwin Baxley; daughter, Madeliene Smith; brothers, H.C. Williamson and M.F. Williamson; and sister, L.V. Burris. Survivors include daughter, Lorraine Batten (Eddie); step-son, Eddie Cavin (Bonnie); ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at Black Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Hunt officiating. Mrs. Cavin will be buried in her family’s section of Black Pond Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Mary and Chrissy, who were caregivers from Community Hospice, for their wonderful, loving care.
