Mabel Westberg

Mabel “Bernell” Westberg passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 82. She was born to Winfield and Mabel (Marcoot) Baits on January 23, 1926 in Greenville, IL. She married Mr. LeRoy Westberg September 3, 1949. They had two daughters, Kathy and Kim and one son, Kenneth. Bernell was a homemaker most of her life, but off and on had jobs throughout. Roy preceded her in death on July 6, 2001. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on June 3, 1981 when she joined Melbourne, FL Chapter # 1046. She came to Moosehaven on July 28, 2004 where she resided for 4 years. She is survived by her children, Kathy Watson, Kim Borgo, and Kenneth Westberg;and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jessica, and Lisa, all of Illinois. A Memorial Service will be held in the Moosehaven Chapel on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2:00 pm and will be conducted by Reverend Helen Taylor and officers of Opportunity Chapter.
