Bonnie Jean Maas

Bonnie passed away January 18, 2015 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 90. She was born to William and Jessie Westbrook on September 27, 1924 in White Cloud, Michigan. Bonnie married Kenneth Clark on November 16, 1942. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1949. They had three children, one daughter, Sheryll and two sons, Kerry and Kenneth. Kerry preceded her in death on June 1, 1987. She worked 20 years in motel management for Dearborn Travel Lodge and Holiday Inn retiring in 2001. She loved to read, work puzzles and be around family and friends. Bonnie was active in the Freemont Baptist Church. Singing in the choir and served as a Sunday School teacher. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in December 1979 when she joined Bradenton, Florida Chapter #1072. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on May 2, 1982 and College of Regent degree on June 11, 1995. Bonnie came to Moosehaven on July 16, 2002 where she has resided for 12 years. No Service. She will be laid to rest in Walkerville, Michigan. She is survived by daughter, Sheryll Sherman, Moosehaven resident, Orange Park, Florida and son Kenneth Clark of Muskegon, Michigan. Cremation Arrangements are under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring Street, Green Cove Springs, FL (904) 284-4000.
