Evelyn Taylor Wright

Evelyn Taylor Wright, our wonderful precious loving Mother, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2008. Our hearts will forever have a piece missing until the day we meet again and rejoice with our Mother and Jesus in Heaven again. She was born on October 1, 1941 in Jacksonville, FL and had been the former owner of Taylor’s Meat Packing for 38 years as well as Wrights Cattle Farm for 10 years. She loved livestock, wildlife and people watching. She loved the Florida Gators and was a Bull Gator. Mrs. Wright will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, S.A. Wright; her brother, Charles “Buddy” Norman and son-in-law, Eddie Michael Williams. Survivors include the father of her children, Irvin “Dick” Taylor; her loving companion, Wayne Feagle; daughters, Sherry Ann Clark (Randy, Sr.), Peggy Sue Williams (Ron Humble), Gina Lorraine Clark (Clint) and Pamela Dell Fowler (Bill); brothers, Markalee Norman (Juanita), Terry Norman (Barbara) and Ike Nolan (Jeanie); sisters, Jeannette West (Cloyd) and Elsie Clinton; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, Bug Dog “Tock” and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, November 24, 2008 at Dinsmore Baptist Church, 10500 Old Kings Rd., Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Dinsmore Baptist Church with Dr. Winson Butler officiating.
