Richard La Fountain

Richard La Fountain passed away January 26, 2015 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 80. He was born to Harvey and Eva LA fountain on April 23, 1934 in Gloversville, New York. He had two children, Denice and Richard. Richard was a self-employed carpenter. He served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft engine mechanic from 1951 to 1954. He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on May 20, 1993 when he joined the New Smyrna Beach, Florida Lodge #1835. Richard came to Moosehaven on December 2, 2010 where he resided for 4 years. Funeral Mass held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Moosehaven Life Care Chapel Services conducted by Father Rafael Lavilla followed by internment in the Moosehaven Mausoleum. He is survived by his children, Denice LA Fountain and Richard Strain of Johnstown, New York, and dear friend Karen Townes of Edgewater, Florida.
