Inez Matz

Inez Matz, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center. She was born to Homer and Sigrid Neddeau on June 7, 1919 in Cheyenne, WY. Inez married Leroy Matz on December 21, 1963. Leroy preceded her in death on October 21, 1970. Inez worked as an office worker and retired in 1972. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in March, 1976 when she joined Colorado Springs Chapter #373. She is survived by, her daughter Evelyn (Alvin) Masching, and son, John Matz; two granddaughters, Victoria (Wallace) Bryant and Angie (Brett) Simpson; and two grandsons, Michael and Fred Masching. Funeral services were held in the Moosehaven Chapel on December 4, 2008 at 10:00 am, conducted by Father Joe Fraser. Interment followed in the Moosehaven Mausoleum.
