Barbara Holton

Barbara Holton, 73, of Middleburg, FL passed away Friday, December 5, 2008. She was born on February 4, 1935 in Anderson, IN and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Holton lived in many places throughout America including, Plymouth, MA where she owned a ceramics shop named “Nana’s Studio” and taught classes. She moved from Texas to Middleburg in 1997. She loved painting, decorating, playing the piano, and singing. Her passion for gardening shined in her yard and she enjoyed breeding her Schnauzers. Mrs. Holton is survived by 11 beloved daughters: Debbie Wells, Vickie Weidner, Wendie Whitaker, Victoria Duda, Rhonda Holton, Tamie Murphy, Sammie Winship, Jodie Reno, Buffie Mulligan, Sherrie Holton, and Lana Weidner; a sister, Sue Ann Keglovits; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her step-mother, Maxine Justice. A private service was held at her home. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, (800) ACS-2345, in Mrs. Holton’s name are appreciated by her family.
