James "Jim" R. Cole

James “Jim” R. Cole, 78, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away March 22, 2015. He was born on August 15, 1936 in Tallassee, AL to parents James and Mildred (Coleman) Cole. Mr. Cole served his country in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a Division Product Manager for a German Steel Corporation. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Mr. Cole was a member of Blanding Boulevard Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Beachy and his great-granddaughter, Taylor Markum. Survivors include his children, Deborah Cole Arnold, Wendy Cole and Brian Cole (Kim); grandchildren, James (Toni) and Christopher (Tiffany) Markum, Amanda Beachy and Cameron and Katie Cole; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas, Kayleigh, Christian and Ansley Markum and his beloved English Bulldog grandpuppy, Cooper . The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, March 26, 2015 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 27, 2015 at Blanding Boulevard Baptist Church, 5005 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32210 with Pastor Terry Mattison and Rev.
