Judith A. Soffer

Judith A. Soffer of Fleming Island Florida passed away on March 31, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1987 working for various commands of the Department of Navy until her retirement from Naval Hospital Jax Human Resources. She was proud of her Philadelphia roots especially her time dancing on American Bandstand and her beloved Phillies. Judy was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend with an extremely funny and endearing personality with an enormous love of life. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth, children Ellen Golden (fiancé Roger), Richard Balent; sister Fran Kennedy; and beloved granddaughter Kimberly Golden. Services are planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a Local Hospice.
