Ida Mae Jeffers, 85, of Middleburg, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2015. She was born on September 29, 1929 in Clay County Florida to parents, Edward and Leona (Padgett) Hatcher. Mrs. Jeffers was a member of Clay Hill Church of God and loved her pastor and church family. She enjoyed growing flowers and talking on the phone. Mrs. Jeffers was known as a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Mrs. Jeffers was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband William C. “Bill” Jeffers in 2004. Survivors include her son, William C. “Bubby” Jeffers, Jr.; daughters, Sylvia M. Love and her husband Ronald and Patricia A. Wiggins and her husband Johnnie; brother, Charles Hatcher and his wife Nina; sisters, Linda Reynolds and her husband Don, Phillajoy Brown and her husband Erby, Janice Stevens and Judy Young and her husband Randy; 6 grandchildren, Jamie, Bruce, Erin, Pamela, Priscilla and Matthew; 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Clay Hill Church of God with Reverend Jeff Crawley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
