Wayne "Moose - Razorback" Griffis

Wayne “Moose – Razorback” Griffis, 44, of Middleburg, FL, passed away April 23, 2015. He was born on July 16, 1970 in Orange Park, FL to parents Wayne Leslie Griffis, Sr. and Jonnie Futch Griffis. Moose was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and watching UFC fights. He was a family man who enjoyed grilling for his family and friends for the afternoon bar-b-que. Wayne was a loving husband, devoted father and cherished the time spent with his grandkids. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends that he loved so much. Mr. Griffis is survived by his wife, Wendy M. Griffis; daughters, Lindsey Page Griffis and Mary Mee (Matt); parents, Wayne Griffis, Sr. and Jonnie Griffis: sisters, Melissa and Sheri; grandchildren, Jayden, Matthew, Aubree and a grandson on the way and his beloved pit bull-mastiff, Jaws. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.
