Carol V. McKay, 69, of Orange Park, FL passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015. She was born on October 25, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Arman and June (Munson) Holm. Carol has been a resident of Orange Park since 1974 and was of the Lutheran faith and a member of Cross+Road Lutheran Church where she was very active. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her friends. Carol was very active in the placement and guidance of foreign exchange students. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who never missed a chance to spoil her grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by her parents, husband, Michael, and a son, Cory. She is survived by her son, Jeremy McKay, his wife Tanya, and their children, Teagan S. McKay, Adysen J. McKay, Everlyn F. McKay; Cory’s daughter, Sheila McKay; brother, John Holm and his wife Neen. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be at Cross+Road Lutheran Church, 5101 Lakeshore Dr W, Fleming Island, FL 32003 at 6 p.m. on May 14, 2015.
