Don Gardiner

Don Gardiner, 58, of Middleburg, FL, passed away May 5, 2015. He was born on May 3, 1957 in Winston-Salem, NC to parents Robert and Dean (Mayo) Gardiner, Sr. Mr. Gardiner served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had been an ironworker in the construction business. He moved to the local Clay County area in 1980 from Loganville, GA. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Ironworkers Union #597. He loved motorcycles and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Donald E. Gardiner, Jr. Survivors include his daughter, Chelsia Gardiner; brother, Steve Gardiner and sister, Patricia Hayes (Preston). The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, May 8, 2015 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Spurgeon Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Penney Farms Cemetery.
