Grace Smith

Grace Smith, 89, passed away Friday, January 2, 2009. She was born to Lester and Grace Kidd on September 21, 1919 in Kingston, NY. Grace married Raymond Smith on September 1, 1940. They had three children, Kathie, Kerri and Maureen. Maureen preceded her in death in 2008. Grace worked as a Travel Agent and retired in 1989. She taught dancing and also enjoyed ceramics. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in February, 1982 when her husband, Raymond joined Riverhead, NY Lodge #1742. She came to Moosehaven in 1999. A Funeral Mass was held in the Moosehaven Chapel on January 5, 2009 at 2:00 pm officiated by Father Joe Fraser. Interment followed in Moosehaven Mausoleum. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Smith; and daughters: Kathie Smith and Kerri Geuricco. Please sign the family's online guestbook at www.broadusraines.com.
