Derick Barr

Derick Barr, 22, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Monday, January 5, 2009. He was born on April 7, 1986 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, Jeff and Brenda Barr. He attended First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs and was involved in DeMolay. He loved nature and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Brenda Barr; brothers, Greg Barr (Jessica), Curtis Barr and Ryan Barr; grandparents, Frances and Gerald Lanter, Roger and Barbara Barr; uncle, Duane Lanter of Jacksonville, FL as well as several other uncles and aunts in Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs with Pastor Sam Castaño officiating. The family will receive friends in the church from 12:00 Noon until service time. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in his name to the American Kidney Association.
