Richard Leon Smith, Jr - Snuffy

Richard Leon Smith, Jr.-Snuffy, 64, of Middleburg, FL, passed away on May 26, 2015. He was born in Memphis, TN on March 11, 1951 to Richard Leon Smith, Sr. and Harriet Ann (Mourn) Grim. Richard was of the Baptist faith and a retired Navy veteran. He was loved by all who knew him. Richard is preceded in death by his father and his step-son, Matthew James Keathley. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Smith-Chile; mother, Harriet; son, Joshua Smith (Kim); daughter, Mika-Dawn Smith; brothers, Gary Lee and Roger Dean Smith; sister, Linda Dian Zeune (James); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many good friends from the Navy. A funeral service with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Bill Lukander officiating.
