Maxine B. Clevinger

Maxine B. Clevinger, 91, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away May 27, 2015. She was born on March 21, 1924 in Jay, OK to the late Max and Frances (Clark) Bell. She had worked for the health department and was a member of the Green Cove Springs Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and was a member of the quilting club. Mrs. Clevinger also loved reading and gardening and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Clevinger on Dec. 20, 2007. Survivors include her children, Ron D. Clevinger (Patti), Kenny R. Clevinger (Julie) and Sherri Wilkes (Jim); sisters, Jimmie Helen Sterling and Frankie L. Jenkins; sister-in-law, Denny Bell; grandchildren, Jamey, Brian, Ashley, Matthew, Jenna and Shelby and great-grandchildren, Maxie, Dalton, Aaliyah, Lucas, Liam and Dominick. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Green Cove Springs Church of Christ, 3650 Russell Rd. officiated by Claude McEldowney.
