Norma Moody

Norma Moody, 83, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009. She was born in Jacksonville, FL to parents, Amos and Toledo Gainey on August 31, 1925 and was an Episcopalian by faith. Mrs. Moody enjoyed cooking, hunting with her husband Fate, and planting flowers in her yard. She will be dearly missed by her loving family, friends and her grandkids who called her Nana. She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Fate Moody; daughters, Harriette Meeks, Vickie Wright (Henry), Laura Lackey (Jerry), Carolyn Saberg (Billy), stepchildren, Jimmy Moody, Ronnie Moody, and Denise Ostrom; five brothers and four sisters; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday, January 12, 2009 at Broadus- Raines Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Joe Barrie officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
