Marvin Gene Ragan

Marvin Gene Ragan, born December 9, 1942, departed this life on January 19, 2009. He was retired from the United States Navy and the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Orange Park Masonic Lodge and a charter member of the Fleming Island Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Darlene; four daughters, Tammy Penton of Hastings, FL, Terri Couey (Richard) of Keystone Heights, FL, Tiffanie Clark (Danny) of Lawtey, FL, Traci Belz of Jacksonville, FL; childrens mother, Sandra Ragan; nine grandchildren, Kayla, Stephanie, Ritchie, Sabrina, Whitney, Danielle, Fred, “Lil” Danny, and Pacie. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Jim Weldon, Jr. officiating. Military honors will be conferred at the service.
