Carlyn Kelty Gundersen

Gundersen, Carlyn Kelty, widow of Henry M. Gundersen, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Orange Park, FL. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, but lived in Florida since 1955. Mrs. Gundersen was a 1971 graduate of Jacksonville University, and member of Philadelphia Theta Honor Society. She was Past President of NE Florida Power Squadron Auxiliary, St. Vincent’s Hospital Auxiliary, and Ginger Garden Circle of Orange Park. She was also an Honorary Life Member of Orange Park Women’s Club and a Past Trustee and recent active member of Shepherd Center of Orange Park. She was a longtime member of American Association of University Women and active in Friday Musicale and Jacksonville Fine Arts Forum. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 30, 2009 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church officiated by Father James R. Boddie, Jr. with a reception following in the Parrish Hall.
