Peter F. Morris, Jr.

Peter F. Morris Jr., 76, of Fleming Island, FL passed away June 4, 2015. He was born on September 3, 1938 in Lowell, MA to parents Peter F. Morris Sr. and Gladys L. (Hoole) Morris. Mr. Morris was an avid golfer. He was retired from the military after 20 years with the U.S Navy and 22 years with the Naval Aviation Depot – U.S. Government for a total of 42 years combined service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Linda Morris, and his parents. Survivors include four children, Pauline Williams (John), Theresa Bednar (Bob), Michele Morris and Gregory Morris; three brothers, David Morris, Jimmy Morris (Mary) and Bobby Morris; nine grandchildren, Courtney, Chris, Colin, Heather, Brittany, Caitlin, Kaydence, Landon and Allistaire; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Chloe, Callie, Max, Jack and Willow. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Russell Franklin officiating. Full military honors will be conferred.
