Gene passed quietly away on June 8, 2015 while spending the last 6 months of his life in the care of his daughter and son-in-law in Jacksonville, FL. Prior to that he was a long-time resident of Ringoes, NJ. Gene was one of 3 sons of Joseph and Anna Diminick. He was 79 years old.
Gene spent his entire life taking care of his family and being a good friend to those around him. He enjoyed his second career at Home Depot in Bridgewater, NJ and spoke often about the lifelong friends he made there. He enjoyed fishing and taking care of his chickens, delivering fresh eggs to his friends. His children were always his most proud accomplishment. He served in the Army from 1954 - 1956 during the Korean War.
Gene was an amazing father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed more than words can say.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gene Christopher Diminick (1969 - 2010).
He is survived by his daughter, Felicia in Jacksonville, FL, his brother Joseph in Wacobia, Minnesota and his brother Jack in Danville, Pennsylvania and many other family members in NJ. As well as his ex-wife of almost 30 years, Beverly Diminick in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
