Charles "Chuck" Owen Buirge

Charles “Chuck” Buirge, 66, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, January 22, 2009. He was born to Raymond and Bee Buirge on March 18, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN and moved to Fleming Island, FL in 1998. He earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from The University of Minnesota and honorably served as a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. Later, he worked as an Executive with ConAgra Grain Company. Mr. Buirge is survived by his beloved wife of twelve years, Kay Buirge of Fleming Island, FL; two sons, Robert (Diann) Buirge and Tom (Linda) Buirge of Minneapolis, MN; two sisters, Sara (Charlie) Kennedy and Susan Buirge; and four grandchildren: Ashley, Adam, Daelynn, and Andrew. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at Eagle Harbor Golf Club on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm.
