L.E. Phillips

L.E. Phillips, 80, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away June 19, 2015. He was born on February 25, 1935 in Harriman, TN to the late Robert and Inez (Foster) Phillips. Mr. Phillips owned L.E. Phillips Paint & Body Shop and enjoyed fishing in his free time. He was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Shiloh Baptist Church for 42 years. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Iva Phillips; children, Danny Phillips, Dorothy Spengler, Dale Taylor and Debbie Barrie; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, June 22, 2015 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Hunt, Rev. Marc Swarthout and Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
