Christina Lea Nietman

Christina Lea Nietman, 21, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 following a tragic car accident. Christina was born on September 15, 1987 in Orlando, FL and moved to Green Cove Springs thirteen years ago. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Christina loved butterflies and will be remembered for being a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Russell Nietman, and Harold and Betty Bailey; and aunt, Vivian Reeves. Survivors include her parents, Gregory and Cheryl Nietman; sisters: Lana (Daniel Wilson) Nietman, Donna Bailey, and Tamara Ortiz; grandma, Irene Nietman; uncles: Gerald and Gary Neal, and Harold and Edward Bailey; aunt, Billy Jean Bailey; nieces and nephews: Mason Wilson, Michael Ferrer, Jr., Iris Rivera-Bailey Angela Ortiz, and Jamary Ortiz. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the Broadus-Raines Chapel officiated by Ronald Boyette, Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations to Broadus-Raines Funeral Home toward the funeral expenses are appreciated by her family.
