Pastor Bobby Register

Pastor Bobby Register, 62, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away July 4, 2015. He was born on May 24, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Robert and Ruby (Gordon) Register. Bobby was the Pastor of First Black Creek Baptist Church in Penney Farms, FL and loved the mountains, fishing and was an avid reader. He especially enjoyed walking in the woods and praying. He loved helping people and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Carlye Register; daughters, Tina Lewis (Randall) and Lisa Register; siblings, Vickey Jensen (Larry), Pam Anderson (Allen), David Register (Bobbie) and Renee Willard (Jimmy) and grandchild, Logan Lewis. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 10, 2015 at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32210 with Dr. Harold Hudson officiating. Visitation in the church on Friday will be from 9:30 am until service time. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the First Black Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 3904 State Road 16 West, Penney Farms, FL 32079.
