Wendell E. Harris

Wendell E. Harris, 55, of Starke, FL passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 in Gainesville, FL. He was born on September 15, 1959 to parents Alfred Ray Harris & Geraldine Brock Oliver. Wendell spent most of his life in Clay County and was a Christian. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, the beach, football, wrestling and NASCAR. Wendell is described by his family as being “a heck of a brick and stone mason, one of the best!” He was a loving son and brother. Wendell is survived by his parents, Alfred R. Harris & Geri B. Oliver (Gary); sisters, April Marshall (Greg) & Angela McKenna; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Black Pond Baptist Church.
