Lamar F. Chesser, Jr., 61, of Middleburg, FL, passed away July 16, 2015. He was born on May 4, 1954 in Orange Park, FL to Lamar Francis Chesser, Sr. and Betty Hall. Lamar was a lifelong resident of Clay County and a member of Black Pond Baptist Church. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Lamar loved the beach and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a beloved father, Papa, brother and friend. Lamar is preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Earnest Hall.
Survivors include his children, Jackson (Teresa) Chesser, Michael (Kaci) Chesser, Mark (Jo) Chesser, Jaime (Ted) Corley and Adam (Katie) Chesser; brothers, David (Robin) Chesser and Tony “BO-Gator” Hall; 15 grandchildren; and his very dear and loving friend Ms. Joyce Carter.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Charlie Hunt and Rev. Tim Hall officiating.
