Janet Weber Smith

Janet Weber Smith, age 85, passed away July 16, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Emporium, PA to parents Chris and Janet Atherton and had lived in Green Cove Springs for the last 35 years. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Betty Colletti; brother, Chris Atherton, Jr.; sister, Evelyn Parker; and infant daughter, Lorinda Weber. She was an avid fan of the Florida Gators, loved camping, going to Wal-Mart and visits from her beloved family. She is survived by her children, Linda (Allen) Nail, Lyle (Donna) Weber, Lynette (Kenny) DeMay, Russell (Lori) Weber and David (Jodie) Weber; grandchildren, Jason (Rosie) Nail, Debbie (Chris) Keeton, Mark (Joanna) Chesser, Adam (Katie) Chesser, Jamie (Ted) Corly, Christopher (Jordon) Weber, Amy (Stephen) Ball, Josh (Danielle) Weber, Leaha Weber, Russell Weber, Jr. and Heather Weber; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Charlie Hunt officiating.
