Norma Jean Beacham Wilson, 87, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away July 26, 2015 at her Mandarin residence. She was born to parents, Harmon and Bessie Beacham in Jacks Creek, TN and had lived in Jacksonville for over 20 years. She was retired from the State of Georgia where she taught middle school, primarily 6th grade English and also had owned a fabric store in Jackson, TN. She was a member of the Mandarin United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Outreach Circle. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William Jennings Wilson in 2010 and is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Maxey of St. Johns, FL; granddaughter, Carsen Jennings Maxey of St. Johns, FL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Mandarin United Methodist Church, 11270 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32223 with The Rev. Deborah A. McLeod officiating. The family will receive friends in the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.. Mrs. Wilson will be entombed next to her husband at Jackson Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN.
