Richard Charles Denton

Richard Denton passed away July 30, 2015 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 91. He was born to Charles and Ada Denton on September 21, 1923 in Wayne County, Michigan. Richard married Ruth Balwin on July 24, 1953. They had five children, Donna, Michael, Lori, Mark and Jim. She preceded him in death on August 10, 1986. He later married Pauline Stratton Raby on December 26, 1991. He was blessed with four step daughters Donna, Pat, Beverly and LeeAnn. He was preceded in death by daughter, Donna, grandson, Matthew and step daughter Pat. He served in the Air Force during World War II. Richard was a machinest lead man for Unisys Corp. retiring in 1975. He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on July 7, 1988 when he joined the Zephyrhills, Florida Lodge #2276. Richard came to Moosehaven with wife Pauline on April 22, 2008 where he resided for 7 years. No Services. He will be laid to rest in Stanton, Michigan. He is survived by his wife Pauline Denton, Moosehaven resident, Orange Park, Florida and daughter, Lori(Michael) Mazzola, Mark, Michael and Jim(Lavern) of Michigan and step daughters Donna Hannah of Zephyrhills, Florida, Beverly Young and LeeAnn White of Michigan.
