Joan Lavina Smith (Selph) of Fort Pierce, FL passed away peacefully on August 5, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Hobe Sound, FL to parents Joseph and Margaret Selph (Tedder). She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 55 years, Harry Smith; brothers, James Selph and George Selph; and sister Minnie Ackerson (Selph). Survivors include her children, Margaret Ann Coppock (Selph) of Blythewood, SC and Kevin Andrew Smith of Jacksonville, FL; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Selph and sister, Barbara Blanton (Selph). A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, 500 Walnut St., Green Cove Springs, FL, 32043.
