Anthony Pecora passed away peacefully with his wife at his bedside on October 17, 2015 in Marion County. He was born on March 19th 1965 in Peekskill, New York. Anthony aka "Tony" was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. He was an expert mechanic and carpenter. Tony restored an 1800's farm house in Palatka all by himself. He had a big heart, and helped many people in his life for free. He enjoyed going to St. Augustine and walking St. George street and sitting by the water by the old fort. He loved the Mountains and wanted to reside there one day. We did have two lovely trips to North Carolina and Tennessee, Cades Cove, where we got lost when we got off trail, but he found our way out. He loved nature and being outdoors and was very adventurous. Tony is a survivor of stage four throat cancer of two years. He lost his fight to lung cancer, even though he quit smoking at age 46. Tony loved his family and friends. He also loved his grandchildren so much and they brought him much joy. He enjoyed Ocala and Daytona Beach.
