Ella Bernice Taylor

Ella Bernice Taylor, 87, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away October 26, 2015. She was born on February 3, 1928 in Yulee, FL to the late Eddie and Euretha (Gaye) Thigpen. Mrs. Taylor had been a homemaker and was a member of the Green Cove Springs Church of God and a previous member of Otis Road Church of God. Mrs. Taylor was known for her wonderful biscuits but her passion was Christ and family and she will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy Taylor and her siblings, Tommy, Alice, Edna, Elizabeth, Charlie, Ivy Lee, Velma, Lillian and H.R. Survivors include her children, George Taylor (Patricia), Danny Taylor (Debbie S.), Perry Taylor (Debbie T.), Rebecca Taylor Ogletree (Lowell) and Deborah Taylor Raulerson (Ron); grandchildren, George Taylor III, Sharilyn Taylor, Victor Taylor (Sandra), Kellie Taylor Valasek (Sam), Margie Taylor Fuller (Jeff), Perry Taylor, Jr., Sherri Ogletree Quarles (Donnie) and Jennifer Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle, Ethan, Brielle, Eli, Rylee, Tatianna and Landen and great-great-grandchildren, Abigail and Lana Rae. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2015 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Lighthouse Worship Center, 801 Otis Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32220. Interment will follow in Sellers Cemetery.
