FEITIG, David Adam
83, passed away on November 8, 2015, at his home in Fleming Island, Fla. Dave never met a stranger and graced those he knew with his smile, sense of humor and kindness. After attending Randolph-Macon and serving in the U.S. Army, Dave worked for decades at Reynolds Aluminum, was active as a founding member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where his beautiful bass voice joined the choir each week, and had a long and happy retirement with many days on the golf course with friends. He believed that his mark, however, was his family. He was predeceased by parents, Adam and Ruth; and sister, Rae Winter. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Mimi; and daughters, Beth Cosby (Joe), Carter Powell (Don) and Scottie Hardy (John); Mimi’s children, Eric Peterson, Lisa Peterson (Royce Simpson) and Matt Peterson (Jennifer); grandchildren, Brian (Angie), Kelly, Adam, Anne Catherine, Allison, Logan Elizabeth, Conner, Nyles, Brenna, Sydney, Natalie, Grace, Skyler, Ethan and Ansley; also four great-grandsons, Michael, Tyler, Noah and Kyle. He also leaves sister, Alice Ruth Kelly; and a host of wonderful nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015, at Grace Anglican Church, 5804 US-17, Fleming Island, Fla., with a memorial service in Richmond, Va. at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Trinity Lutheran Church Music Program, 2315 N. Parham Rd., Henrico, Va. 23229.
